• Garden design
  • A formal design using professional landscape design software or a design/build approach.
• Plant Selection
  • With the use of contrasting textures, heights, colors and bloom times I can ensure that you have 4 season interest in your gardens.
• Seasonal cleanups
  • Spring cleanups include removal of debris from the garden beds, pruning of winter damaged shrubs and cutting back perennials that were left standing over the winter.
  • Fall cleanups include raking leaves, cutting back perennials that do not provide any winter interest and winter protection for shrubs that are prone to winter damage.
• Maintenance
  • Weekly, bi-weekly and monthly packages available. Let my team do the weeding, edging, mulching and pruning.
• Garden renovations
  • Has your garden been neglected and is now out of control? Using proper pruning times and techniques I can have your shrubs looking good again. Perennials would be divided. Beds would be edged and mulched. I also decide what can be salvaged from the old garden and what should be added.
• Custom container design
  • Are you tired of the same baskets and planters you find at the garden centers? Do you want something different? I can design and plant unique creations to brighten your deck, patio or front entrance.
• Home staging
  • Are you thinking about putting your house on the market? Perhaps it needs something added to give a bit more curb appeal. Freshly edged and mulched beds, plus a few pops of color will add value to your home.

When KH Landscaping was founded in 2004, I was going to do designs and consultations on a part time basis. People would ask if I would plant the garden too or if I would come and weed their gardens. I was also working part time at a garden center, building my customer base. In 2009 the business became my full time occupation.

I was going around to some plant sales one day, and stopped at one and was talking to some people I know. I was picking up some plants to use in some of my client’s gardens. We were joking about me buying all these plants and I told them "I have lots of gardens, I just don’t live at all of them" and I can feed my addiction to buying plants with other people’s money.

Later I was thinking about how true it is, especially with my long term clients. I consider the gardens I have created on their property my own, even though I don’t live there. Several of my clients have told me that if I see something that will work well in their garden, I am to get it, and they will pay me for it. They trust me to know their likes and dislikes and what will grow and thrive in their gardens.
